How it works
From the first conversation to handover, every room follows the same four steps.
- I
Introduction
We meet over coffee, in person or online. We listen to who the child is and which world you have in mind. You send us the floor plan with the measurements, photos of the room and where the sockets and light points are.
- II
Design
You get the full plan: palette, materials, furniture and the layout of the room. You see exactly what is coming before anything is bought or built.
- III
Making
We source the furniture and objects, have the custom pieces made and tune everything to each other. You don’t have to hunt for anything.
- IV
Handover
We install the room completely and style it down to the last detail. The door opens and the room is ready to live in.

Common questions
Do you work in English?
Yes. Many families in Amsterdam speak English at home, and we design just as naturally in English as in Dutch. Nothing gets lost in translation.
Does a bespoke design work in a small Amsterdam apartment?
That is exactly where it pays off. In a canal house or a compact flat every corner counts. We design cleverly around the space, so a small room still feels open and magical.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Amsterdam and the surroundings, from Oud-Zuid and De Pijp to Amstelveen and het Gooi.
Do we need to empty the room first?
No. Whatever is already there and lovely gets a place in the design. You send us photos of the room as it is now, and we decide together what stays and what goes.
Do you order the furniture?
With the restyling you order everything yourself through your personal item list, at shop prices and without markup. With the full design we source, buy and furnish the room ourselves.
